Graduate Admissions

What are the entry requirements for graduate programmes at LSE?

To be considered for admission to the Graduate programmes you must meet:

  1. The minimum entrance requirements set by LSE as listed below (international students should refer to the country specific information for equivalence of qualifications).
  2. The standard of qualifications the School normally expects for admission to each degree programme, see individual entries in the Graduate Prospectus for specific programmes

Your application will be considered on its individual merits. There may be additional entrance requirements for specific programmes and, where relevant, these are noted under individual entries in the Graduate Prospectus. An offer of a place may be conditional on attendance of additional courses and/or passing qualifying examinations. You should note that there are always many more applications than places available at LSE and possession of the minimum entrance requirements does not guarantee that you will be offered admission. It is therefore in your interests to apply as early as possible.
