How can I contact the Graduate Admissions Office?

The Graduate Admissions Office is closed to public enquiries.

You can check the progress and status of your application and supporting documents via the Graduate Application Trackerin LSE for You, which will be available to you once your submitted application has been processed. The information you see displayed online is the same as the information held on our central database. The information is updated live as the Graduate Admissions team process your documents and decisions that arrive in our office during the day. We do not have any further information on your application status other than the information displayed on the tracker.

The website and Admissions Enquiries system are the quickest way to receive answers to any questions that you may have. Please explore the site before contacting us. If your question cannot be answered by reference to the online resources, you can submit an email enquiry using the 'Send a written enquiry' function in the Admissions Enquiries system.

We answer all queries in the order they are received. Please check our current processing times and do not repeat your query. We will respond as quickly as we can. We do not have a direct email address.

If you wish to make changes to your application or to inform us of a decision (such as wishing to defer your offer), then you should use the 'How Do I...?' forms. Once your application is complete, please do not send us any additional information unless we ask for it.

We cannot guarantee that any updated/additional documents you send us after submitting your online application will be seen by the selectors before a decision is made, unless it is something that we have requested from you. Please do not send supporting documents directly to the academic department as this will delay your application.

Send a written enquiry

If the information on this site doesn't answer your question you may send an enquiry to the appropriate department.

Please browse the enquiries system and our website fully to find an answer to your query, before submitting a written enquiry to us. Owing to the volume of decisions and supporting documents currently being processed, email queries are taking some time to be actioned, and you may find we have already provided an answer to your question online. If you do submit a query and when we come to process it we can see that the question has now been resolved, you may not receive a further response from us. We appreciate your assistance in this, which will allow us to assign our resources effectively.

First time users who are not LSE members are required to register.
